Labo Loopwheel Cotton Knit T-Shirt
A men's crew neck short sleeve t-shirt made of smooth organic cotton jersey and features an extremely soft and airy texture. The fabric is knitted in Wakayama, Japan, where most of the nation’s few remaining loopwheel machines are based.
The softness of the fabric is achieved by using a traditional loopwheel machine, slowly knitting from bottom to top to remove unnecessary yarn tension and sagging. Unlike modern high-speed machines, this slow and gentle process ensures a high-quality material with a fluffy texture that is only possible with traditional knitting methods. Loopwheeling may leave charming and unique irregularities such as an uneven slub texture.
